Description: Lily leaves a red Moleskin notebook filled with dares and activities (for the person who picks it up) on a shelf in her favorite library hoping that just the right boy will come along and except the dares that are inside.
Dash is the lucky boy that finds the book and does everything that the red notebook says. He rights back in the notebook giving just as mischievous dares as Lily wrote. As they pass they book back and forth they begin to learn a lot about each other and grow a great friendship. Will a strong romance come out of it? Will it just fizzle to a lost connection that they shard through their words? Well! Find out for yourself in Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.
What I Thought of the Book: I absolutely loved this book because it was funny, romantic and entertaining. I loved all of the characters and the way the authors descrbed them and how they acted. I loved that the book was based during Christmas in New York (I love Christmas and New York) and I like how the authors made the scenery look. I just loved everything about this book. It is a Plume Award Nominee, so that explains it... it's awesome. If you like to read romantic comedy books or like Rachel Cohn or David Levithan you will LOVE this book.
