DESCRIPTION: Antonia considers herself a "normal" girl once she meets Jasmine Luther, a punker, a druggie, a gang hanger. Well, at least that's what she thinks when she has to help her in a peer counseling program. But later on in the program, they find out that they have more in common and that Jasmine isn't the only one that needs help... apparently Antonia's mom has been sick and depressed for some what a couple years. Now Antonia isn't the only one that's helping out, Jasmine is helping Antonia out as she gets her through the complicated thing that is apparently a "normal" life.

WHAT ARE MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK: I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. What's so funny though, is that I can relate to Antonia's personality, how she acts, she's usually serious about certain things and is very sensitive to jokes. But later on in the book, she learns to relax and not take everything so seriously. What I like about this book is that I can relate to a lot of things. MNL (5)
