This book is about a human girl named Kezi falling in love with an Akkan Wind god Named Olas. When Kezi finds out he's a god she freaks out because she believes in another god. Kezi will be sacrificed to that god because of a promise her father broke. For Kezi to become a god before she is sacrificed, she has to journey to the underworld. When she comes back, she becomes a god.
