I read the book Go Ask Alice by Anonymous. Go Ask Alice takes place in the 60's and is based on the diary of a 15 year old girl's struggle with drug addiction. It all started when she had a coke laced with LSD. From then on she was hooked. She goes from a well to do family to living on the streets alone. This book shows you the horrific details of drug addiction.
I liked this book a lot but it was very sad and horrible. All the talk of drugs and what they do to you was horrible. I also felt really bad for the main character because of all the stuff she went through. Whenever she tried to stay off drugs I would always hope it would last because I felt so bad for her. It was probably a little to old for me but it is good for people to read to know the truth about drugs. KIC (6)
