Sophie Mercer is a witch. She is sent to Hex Hall to gain control over her powers. When she gets her roommate, it is the most hated person on campus, the vampire Jenna. When murders start happening to the most popular girls in the school, Jenna is blamed. As an effort to save her only friend, Sophie gets detention, skips school, and threatened to be locked in her room. In the end she saves Jenna, but the one she loves is the murderer.
