I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore is a thrilling science fiction. It takes place in present time and revolves around a 15 year old alien boy who must save his race because an evil race of aliens from the planet Mogador wants to kill his kind. Ever since he was young a charm protected him from the Mogadorians. There were nine others but now there only six. That’s bad news because the charm works by numbers. If you are number 6 then you can not be killed until 1,2,3,4,and 5 are all killed. And this boy is number 4. Then there’s also the fact that these aliens from the planet Lore have supernatural skills. So they might when the fight. Or not.
I Am Number Four is certainly one of my favorite books. It was fast paced, suspenseful, and just all around epic. I’d say this is a good book for anyone in 7th grade or up.JFM 9
