I read the book Incarceron by Catherine Fisher. Incarceron is a prison that is different than any other prison. It doesn't just have cells like a normal prison, but rundown cities, metal forests, and barren wilderness. It has been sealed for centuries and no one goes in or out but there is legend of one man escaping. Finn is a 17 year old prisoner in Incarceron who believes he came from outside. He finds a crystal key that he believes will help him escape but instead he meets a girl named Claudia through the key. Claudia is from outside. Finn needs Claudia's help to escape but if he escapes she needs is help in return. They soon realize that escaping Incarceron is much harder than they thought.
When I first started to read this book I thought it was very confusing and weird. But as I kept reading and parts of the plot unfolded I couldn't put it down. It was very good and I love how it all turned out. Also they way the Catherine Fisher writes about the prison I can really see it and imagine what its like. I am very eager to read the next book.
