The Curious Incident with the Dog in the Night-time was a book that I would not normally read. One of my mothers friends had suggested it, and it was a great book. This book is about a boy named Christopher Boone. Christopher lives in England, and has autism. He is struggling in life, his mother dying when he was fourteen. Christopher is fifteen now, and is taking A level maths. He was walking down the road when he heard a cry. The cry came from a dog, Wellington. Wellington hobbled over to him with a pitch fork through his stomach. Christopher is not used to death, but when the owner of the dog comes out and finds Christopher holding the dog, he is accused of killing the dog. Christopher then tries to figure out who killed the dog after leaving the police station and finds a shocking discovery about his parents.

I really liked this book. At the beginning, I wasn't sure I would like the book, but it turned out to be a great book. The author of the book really understands how to write the perspective of Christopher. I finished this book in six days because I couldn't stop reading it. It is a great book and I recommend it to everyone who loves a great story. ZAK (all four tickets to best buy gift cards.)
