The Daughters Take The Stage

By Joanna Philbin

The Daughters Series Book 3

200 Pages

Description: Daughter of pop star Holla Jones, Hudson Jones is struggling to find her own place in "the family business," aka: show business. Like her mother, Hudson is a gifted singer and songwriter; unlike her mother, she has a serious case of stage fright. Hudson's own debut album is about to drop and she's beyond nervous—how can she explain to Holla that she'd rather play low-key songs with a regular teen band than perform power-pop ballads in front of a packed club?

What I Thought Of The Book: I thought this book was very good. I have liked the series so far and I was excited when this book came out. In this series I really like how there was a book mainly focusing on one of the characters, like the first book was for Lizzie, the second book was for Carina, and this book for Hudson, but in each book the character has the other daughters supporting her. I'm looking forward to the fourth book, where a new character is introduced. EED (6)
