Description: "stargirl" is about, well, a girl named stargirl. she moves to a small, desert-y town in arizona, to be awaited by her new highschool class mates. the only problem is, however, she is different then everyone else. she wears pigtails and long dresses, and carries around a ukulele, which she uses to sing happy birthday to everyone in the cafetirea, and her pet rat, cinnonon whom she keeps in her sunflower bag. at first when she comes, she's all people talk about. people were always whispering, "stargirl does this" and "stargirl does that". she is the best cheerleader on the cheer squad for football games. everyone loves her, until they decide to turn they're back on her, and the only person she has, is leo, her (at least she thinks) only friend.
Review: i love this book!!! it touches very important matters like caring for others/putting others before yourself, bullying, and true love. this book is very touching, sad, and funny. i really want to read love, stargirl, the sequal, because this book was very very well written. i reccomend this to well, EVERYONE!!! ~LKL
